Sunday Dinners for Black Men
Creating space for Black Men and Fathers
Creating space for Black Men and Fathers
Sunday Dinners was created during the pandemic to reduce isolation and foster deeper connection among Black men and Black fathers through therapeutic conversations.
Rooted in Gestalt therapy and inspired by the communal energy of Black barbershops, Sunday Dinners offers a space where Black men of all backgrounds—gay, straight, trans, disabled, biracial, and multiracial—can speak, listen, and be seen.
These sessions create a rhythm of truth-telling, storytelling, and shared presence, where the feeling of "I’m not alone in this" begins to take root and isolation starts to dissolve.
